Hans-Dieter Flick feels Alphono Davies has what it will take to keep Achraf Hakimi at bay
Bayern Munich will face their bitter rivals Borussia Dortmund in the coming weekend. With first choice center backs Niklas Sule and Lucas Hernandez out injured, and Boateng suspended, Hansi Flick will have a tough test in his first match.
But the interim Bayern manager is quite calm about his situation. Bayern will likely play David Alaba and Javi Martinez on the center of defence. While the fullback positions will be occupied by Alphonso Davies and Benjamin Pavard. Flick has shown trust in his young fullback by saying that he can stand the test of Achraf Hakimi agianst him.
“On Tuesday I said that I want to play the back four so that they can get into the groove.
“Against Olympiacos it was good that we focused on defence and the team did it well. When you have a good defence, it’s better for the attack. We’re still concentrating on defence as we’ve conceded too many goals recently,” said Hansi Flick.
“We’ve done a lot of analysis recently and I’m very confident that Davies can fulfill the role,” Flick said.
“He’s got enough speed to nullify Hakimi.”
Goals on goals on goals. 😳

Hansi Flick also went on to talk about Thomas Muller.
“I’ve known Thomas a long time. He’s important for the club and has won everything you can win as a footballer. He’s an important figure off the pitch, and on it he’s someone who can get everyone going,” Hansi Flick told.
