After celebrating with all his teammates in a magical night for Tottenham Hotspur, Harry Kane hopes he can be fit to play the Champions League final.
The images right after Tottenham Hotspur won the Champions League semifinal saw striker Harry Kane enjoying this historic night with his teammates.
The England captain has been quite unlucky with injuries this season, he is Tottenham’s best player and he wasn’t able to help his teammates to reach this point.
The striker has already suffered two nasty ankle injuries during the second half of the season that has kept him out for the majority of the games.
The captain obviously traveled to Holland to support his teammates from the stands, he lived the dramatic final moments alongside other teammates who also missed the game.
When Lucas Moura scored the goal and everybody heard the final whistle, Kane stepped on the pitch to celebrate with his other teammates.
The English striker hoped this could happen because his recovery process was going to be too long, but he could hypothetically make it to the final.
Now that the trip to Madrid is secured for June 1st, Harry Kane will double down on his recovery in order to be fit for the most important match of the season.
The player is widely considered one of the best of his country, he already lived a memorable summer in 2018 with his National Team.
The fact that Harry Kane is enjoying such a successful career for both his club and country is a privilege that very few players get to experience.
Kane will obviously try to do whatever he can to reach the final in the best possible form, but he knows that other players may deserve to play this game more than he does.
Regardless of what happens, Kane is trying to enjoy tonight after such as historic result and he will think about the recovery when the celebrations are over.
“Rehab is going well,” said Kane via BBC Sport.
“I started straight line running this week and I have to start training even harder to prove myself to the gaffer.”
“I’m a fan first and foremost and I know how much it means to the club.”
“It was a disappointing first half and we let them play. I went into the dressing room at half-time and we knew it [the performance] wasn’t good enough. We said we had 45 minutes to give everything.”
“The lads dug deep and showed passion and that is all you can ask for. We had to wait to get the third in the last minute and we found a way. That’s what football is about and we have the final to come.”

Kane could complete the trio with Son and Moura.
Harry Kane’s absence throughout the season due to injury wasn’t all that negative, the other players stepped up in his absence.
People like Son Heung-Min or Lucas Moura actually improved their level of performance because they didn’t have their best player available for the crucial matches.
This detriment was actually beneficial for Tottenham Hotspur as they might line up a highly competitive attacking trio for the final.
Jurgen Klopp should be wary of the potentially destructive force that the Spurs could have with their top players up front.
There is no chance that Mauricio Pochettino won’t line up all three forwards with Dele Alli right behind them for this final.
All we can hope for this match is to have both teams with their rosters fully fit and ready for battle.
The Champions League final at the Wanda Metropolitano promises to be a night to remember for any true football fan.
Both of these squads proved they are deserving of this honor, they promise to deliver one of the most competitive matches in Champions League history when the date comes.
Hopefully, Harry Kane is completely recovered for this match as we would love to watch him perform at the biggest stage.
