Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhüttl says his side must be alert to curb Leicester City’s offensive threat when they visit King Power Stadium today in a Premier league encounter.

Southampton have had an impressive run in the last three Premier league outings including a draw at Stamford Bridge and the Coach wants his team to capitalize on that.

“We have to be aware about the counter qualities that they have, with a lot of speed with [Jamie] Vardy in front, so we can’t have any easy ball losses in the centre,” Hasenhüttl told the club’s website

The Southampton manager was amazed by the display shown today by the footballer after his team won 2-1 over Tottenham Hotspur.

“For us, we want good transition forward and then it is best we finish the action and come back in our shape.

“If we are in our shape it is not so easy to score against us, like we showed against Chelsea. They are a good team who weren’t able to score and that’s what we need.”
