Eden Hazard admits he feels good after returning to the pitch following his long term absence due to injury.
Real Madrid forward Eden Hazard finally returned to action after remaining on the sidelines ever since suffering an ankle injury back in November.
Hazard, who was one of the most energetic players on the pitch, won a penalty which played a big part in Real Madrid’s 2-2 draw against Celta Vigo in La Liga last night.
“I felt good,” Hazard said after the match, as reported by Marca.
“The first 10 minutes I was tired, but as the minutes went by I felt fine. I’m happy with my performance, but not with the result.”
With last night’s draw, Real Madrid failed to extend their lead much further as only one point now separates them from Barcelona. But Hazard is hopeful that his side will be able to turn around their recent slip and improve to get positive results.
“I hope we’ll improve in the next few games,” Hazard continued.
“There’s still a lot of games left and we’re going to fight it out until the end. We’re working well and we’re going to win a lot of games together. It’s going to be good for us.”
