Marcus Rashford has praised his teammate Daniel James saying that he has adapted quite well to his role.
In a world of inflated transfer prices, Manchester United purchased Daniel James from Swansea City at the start of this season for a fee of just around €18 million.
The Welsh international has settled well in his new team and has become an integral part of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad. He has played 21 games in the Premier League so far while directly contributing in 9 goals.
Speaking about Daniel James, teammate Marcus Rashford was full of praise. Rashford highlighted James’ strengths and singled out his crossing ability. The 22-year old also claimed that they were trying to adapt to Daniel James’ playing style which would we better for the team’s sake.
“Dan has been brilliant since he came in,” Rashford said in the club’s matchday program.
“He definitely does that and, if we can adapt more to his playing style, he can cause some teams nightmares down the right-hand side, as we’ve seen in some games this season.
“I like his deliveries as well. He takes his time and doesn’t just cross it. He lifts his head up and tries to pick you out,” Rashford added.
“It’s these little things that, as time goes on, he will definitely improve on and build on.”
