At the age of 38, Ibrahimovic is still competitive as ever and his standards make everyone else around him better, as per AC Milan teammate Asmir Begovic.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is still showing remarkable work ethic for someone of his age, believes Asmir Begovic.

The 38-year-old joined up with former side AC Milan in January after bringing his time in the MLS to a close.

Asmir Begovic, who also joined the Rossoneri in January, came in on loan from Bournemouth until the end of the season.

In the short time he has spent in Italy, the goalkeeper has been impressed with the attitude of Ibrahimovic and took to salute the forward for his impact to the team.

“He has had such a huge impact; his personality, his leadership, his quality on the pitch.” Begovic told The Guardian.

“The best thing about him is how competitive he is. At his age, he is still pushing every day to be the best.

“He is a team player in so many ways, his standards make everyone else better. He can change games with his presence. A world-class player who is a joy to watch.”

Asides Ibrahimovic, Begovic also hailed another Milan player and fellow goalkeeper Gianluigi  Donnarumma.

“He can be anything he wants to be,” he continued.

“He is one of the top goalkeepers in the world right now and if he keeps going like this it’s only a matter of time before he becomes unanimously the best.

“He is phenomenal, a huge talent and a good guy too, with a very good work rate. What he has already achieved in the game is quite remarkable really. I can only see good things in the future for him.”
