Jamie Carragher has criticized Dejan Lovren for showing unwillingness to learn from his past mistakes.
The Croatian had just returned from his injury when Jurgen Klopp slotted him in the starting XI to face Watford. Klopp would have immediately regretted his decision as his inclusion brought their 44-match unbeaten run to an end.
After the match, Troy Deeney confessed that he specifically targeted Lovren to score his goal.
Recently, Reds legend Jamie Carragher shamed the 30-year old for his aggressive attitude.
“I’ve watched Lovren in a Liverpool shirt for so long making the same mistake. He wants to fight everyone he plays against,” Carragher told the Maych X Pajak Podcast.
“Harry Kane started this season and stands on Lovren, just uses his body and knocks him out the way. He’s 28, he should have learned by now. There’s no problem letting Deeney bring the ball down.”
