AS Monaco coach Thierry Henry admits he regularly speaks with Cesc Fabregas and revealed he’s a “player who interests all clubs”
The Spanish midfielder bid Chelsea an emotional farewell in their 2-0 FA Cup win over Nottingham Forest at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Fabregas is now expected to complete a move to Monaco to reunite with former Arsenal team-mate Henry after falling out of favour under Maurizio Sarri this season.
But Henry wouldn’t confirm whether a deal was in place or not, but admitted he regular speaks with Fabregas.
“Fabregas you saw, like me, there was a standing ovation, tears,” said Henry, according to Sky Sports.
“Since my departure from Arsenal we talk every two or three days with Cesc It has not changed in recent days. He is a player who interests all clubs.”
Fabregas has made just one start in six Premier League appearances for Chelsea this season.
Meanwhile, Monaco will take on Rennes in a quarter-final Coupe de la Ligue clash this Wednesday.
