Lucas Hernandez will not be leaving Bayern Munich under any circumstances according to his agent.
The Bavarian giants brought the World Cup winner from La Liga’s Atletico Madrid.
Hernandez arrived in Bavaria under a shroud of injury problems and following a serious knee injury.
Those problems have persisted since he arrived at the Allianz Arena.
This has led to him being no more than a bit-part player for both Hansi Flick and his predecessor Niko Kovac.
With Newcastle United set to receive a massive financial windfall when their takeover is complete, the player has been linked with an escape route.
It seems highly unlikely that a player like Hernandez would contemplate such a move, and his agent insists that his client is not considering any move anywhere.
Manuel Garcia Quilon told Sky Germany:
“Lucas isn’t going anywhere and will definitely stay at Bayern.”
This follows a vote of confidence from Flick that the Frenchman will get his chance at Bayern.
“Lucas is plagued by injuries. Now it is important that he shows excellent performance in training.”
“I am very satisfied with his mentality, he always gives 100 per cent.”
“It is clear that we need every player in our squad.”
Bayern Munich are not in the business of losing out on transfer deals, they are one of football’s shrewdest operators. Hernandez will likely be given time as Flick looks to bring in replacements for an aging front line.
