“It’s a dream and I always say, when you think positively, positive things happen,” Heung-min told the club’s official website.

“I believe in my team-mates, I believe in our fans, I believe in our stadium. It was an unbelievable performance from us. This is amazing.”

“I hope people don’t forget me after 50, 60 years!” he said, smiling.

“It feels great.”

He explained: “I’m just honored to play here, to score goals, to win a game like this, it’s incredible for me. It feels amazing.”

“I’ve learned so much here and I’m just grateful to have been given the opportunity.”

The South Korean started his professional career with Hamburger in the German Bundesliga in 2010.

He spent three years there before moving for Bayer Leverkusen in 2013.

Then in 2015, he was bought by Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premier League, where he has enjoyed a lot of success.
