Tottenham Hotspur forward Heung-Min Son believes the team has what it takes to bounce back after their 1-0 home defeat to United on Sunday.
Marcus Rashford’s 44th-minute goal condemned Spurs to their back-to-back Premier league home defeats, and nine points behind league leaders Liverpool.
Heung-Min Son flew to the United Arab Emirates on Monday for the Asian Cup competition and will play against China in their third and final group match in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.
The South Korea international left a message for fans after their tough loss against Manchester United.
“This is football,” Son told the club’s website.
“We have to learn again and go again, harder and harder. We have to bounce back.
“You know what? We’ve always done it… after losing we always come back stronger than before. Now we have to show our character again.
“We played better, dominated the game and created so many chances but if you don’t score, you lose.
“Football is about scoring goals. It’s disappointing, of course. We deserved the three points but sometimes football is like this.”
