The Tottenham Hotspur footballer believes the Spurs have a great chance to make history today against Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League.

Tottenham Hotspur is set to play against Manchester City three times in the next two weeks: in the UEFA Champions League Quarterfinal and in the English Premier League.

And for footballer Son Heung-min, his team can make history against the Citizens in all three games.

“People sometimes forget how important the first leg is and I think the players know how we should play, what we want, how we will be motivated for these games,” Heung-min told The Standard.

“We have a great chance to make history. Win with a clean sheet — this is my wish.”

“Of course everyone can have different opinions on our approach but for us, it’s to be brave,” manager Mauricio Pochettino added.

“We’re playing at home, we need to be brave from the first moment and try to win the game. That’s our idea for the game. I told them [my players] it’s a bonus, so play with freedom and try to be ourselves.”

Tottenham Hotspur is currently in the fourth position of the English Premier League table with 63 points, thanks to 21 victories in 32 games, one draw, and ten defeats.

A win today could put them in the third place ahead of Chelsea, and 13 points behind second-place Manchester City.
