Carlo Ancelotti has ruled out Richarlison, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Alex Iwobi for the match against Newcastle.

Brazil international Richarlison missed out on Everton’s last match due to a knee injury as they had to settle for a 1-1 draw against West Ham.

Moreover, Everton were also without another of their key players in Gylfi Sigurdsson and Alex Iwobi with the former suffering from a groin injury while the latter missed the last six games with a hamstring problem.

Recently, Carlo Ancelotti confirmed that all three of them will also sit out Everton’s next game against Newcastle United. The Italian said that although Iwobi has recovered, he is ruled out as a precautionary measure.

“Richarlison trained today but he still had pain. So, he will not be available tomorrow,” Ancelotti was quoted by Daily Mail.

“Iwobi is doing well but we don’t want to take a risk. He will stay here to train,” he added.

“Sigurdsson is out and Michael Keane trained today. He was not so comfortable and he will be in the squad and we are going to decide tomorrow.”
