Ole Gunnar Solskajer has some positive news on the Manchester United injury front, Harry Maguire may be back this Saturday to face Norwich.

It was reported earlier in the week that Maguire was out until April with a torn hip muscle.

Solskajer addressed the press before this weekend’s clash with the Canaries and dispelled those rumors.

According to the club website manutd.com, he had some much more positive news on the England defender.

He said:

“He’s got a chance of tomorrow.”

“We’ll give him today training and see if he gets through that one because it wasn’t a bad one.”

“We’ll see tomorrow.”

This will come as a huge relief to the Norwegian.

Maguire has been a solid presence in the defense since his 80 million pound arrival in the summer.

On other players, there was some good and some not so good news.

He added:

“Jesse’s illness has got worse and so he won’t be available.”

“Eric [Bailly] and Tim [Fosu-Mensah] are going to play in the Reserves tonight.”

Solskjaer gave no further update on Scott McTominay and Paul Pogba.
