Hull City winger Kamil Grosicki has gone AWOL after failing to compete a move to Turkish side Bursaspor.
The Poland international has rejected the chance to sign a two-year loan deal with Bursaspor, despite undergoing a medical and agreeing terms with the Turkish side.
Grosicki appeared to have played his final game for the Hull after the club granted him permission to fly to Turkey early this morning to complete a protracted exit.
The 30-year-old successfully passed a medical with Bursaspor but, much to the dismay of the Super Lig, opted against putting pen to paper on their proposed contract.
A statement on Bursaspor’s website, as quoted by BristolPost confirmed that a two-year loan had been agreed with City but said Grosicki had “dismissed the agreement and left the city… without any justification.”
Grosicki signed for Hull City back in January 2017 when the Tigers were still a Premier League team but couldn’t stop them from getting relegated to the Sky Bet Championship that summer.
The winger was part of Poland’s 23man squad that participated at the just concluded FIFA World Cup in Russia.
