Following ongoing speculation about the possible transfer of Napoli’s star, Elseid Hysaj expressed his need for a change of pace.
Not everything is bright and shiny in the Napoli football transfer sector. Despite a solid placement on the Serie A table, some Italian stars find it difficult to stay put.
Take right-back Elseid Hysaj for example.
While speaking with Albanian outlet Digitalb, Hysaj showed interest in not only leaving Napoli but also look for a more dynamic club to take him on. With an eagerness to find the long-craved change, Hysaj explained why he has decided to leave the Italian gem.
“I am absolutely ready for a new adventure because I need to change. I am not the type who always likes being in the same team and in the same environment and tell me that I feel good, that I don’t want anything more,” he analyzed.
He also added the things he is expecting from his new club. “I want to have new experiences, get to know a new country, new people and a new team, maybe try to win something. For me, the years at Napoli are over. I hope to find a team to give me what I need.”
In the past few months, there has been uncertainty on whether Hysaj will leave Napoli, thus adding to the team’s shortcomings in valuable players. Talk has it that Hysaj will be leaving this summer, and will be looking for a more prosperous club. Some of the worthy mentions include a potential transfer to Chelsea and Inter. Interestingly, both of these teams have shown interest in negotiating singing conditions.
Among other club candidates are also Atletico Madrid, who recently sparked up an interest in bringing Hysaj to their roster. As for Napoli, the team is not standing on shaky legs. As a matter of fact, the Italian gem already signed Giovanni Di Lorenzo from this year’s outsider Empoli.
