‘I did not watch the Champions League final’ – Alisson

Ahead of a potentially season-defining showdown against Leicester City tonight, Brazillian goalkeeper Alisson Becker talks about his disposition before joining Liverpool.

He also reflects on his start of life in the Premier League.

In an interview with BT Sport Alisson confessed he could not hold himself enough to watch the Liverpool’s ill-fated final despite being linked with a move to the Reds.

“I did not watch the game!” he admitted.

Coutinho’s agent says Liverpool return would be “a very difficult deal”

According to Kia Joorabchian, the only chance the player has to return to play to the English Premier League is if he does it with the Reds.

“It was a very important game to watch but we [Roma] had made it so far that it was too frustrating to watch, so some of us decided not to.

“I was also preparing for the World Cup at that time, so I was probably training. I ended up not watching it. After the World Cup, I did start to ponder about what I could achieve here [at Liverpool].

“I started to study the club and when it got more official and Klopp called me, he explained the whole project to me which without a doubt, influenced my decision greatly.”
