Neymar suggests Kylian Mbappe has what it takes to earn a place for himself in the history books.

Kylian Mbappe has been firing on all cylinders for Paris Saint-Germain this season.

Having found the back of the net 14 times in 17 games, the French international is in fierce competition to earn the Ligue 1 golden boot with being only a goal short from the best scorer.

At just 20 years of age, Mbappe has already won the World Cup, something which not even the likes Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi have been able to do yet, along with a plethora of domestic titles with PSG.

Talking about his teammate, Neymar did not hold his punches while heap praise on the PSG number-7.

Speaking in an interview with FIFA, the 28-year old stated that it was an honor for him to be able to play alongside Kylian Mbappe while claiming that they have a perfect understanding of each other on the pitch.

“Kylian is a phenomenon,” Neymar insisted.

“He has the potential to become one of the best players in history. To have him as a team-mate is a huge honor. We understand one another very well on the pitch and off it too. I love him!”
