Everything seemed in place for Antoine Griezmann to finalize his move away from Madrid. But recent developments do not feel promising for the want-away winger.
It seems Lionel Messi would rather play with his former teammate, Neymar, than share the stage with Griezmann.
Lionel Messi has told the Barcelona board that he has concerns over the attitude of possible new signing Antoine Griezmann & would prefer the return of Neymar, according to @mohamedbouhafsi.

Marca reports that any move for Antoine Griezmann is on a halt. The player himself is unaware of the situation.
Antoine was recently questioned about the progress of his move to Barcelona. Griezmann had no idea which direction the transfer was heading in.
After a 2-0 win with France, to the query, he said:
“I don’t know when my future will be resolved. That’s a good question.”
“Everything will come in time.”
For the moment, it is unsure whether or not Antoine Griezmann gets his move away from Atletico Madrid. Barcelona may look to sanction a deal elsewhere.
But Griezmann will be a perfect fit in the Barcelona side. Players like Ousmane Dembele and Philippe Coutinho failed to make the mark they were expected to.
Antoine Griezmann plays on the same position as Dembele. He will be a definite improvement on the young French winger.
