The Tottenham Hotspur manager doesn’t have any speech prepared for the minutes before the Ajax match, and he will only speak his heart.
After a 1-0 deficit on the first leg of the UEFA Champions League Semifinal, English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur hopes to be able to beat Dutch Eredivisie side in order to qualify to the Final of the tournament.
And Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino says there is no pre-planned speech of what he will say to his players, he will only speak his heart out hoping to motivate his footballers.
“I am not going to prepare anything. I talk from my heart and tell them what I feel in the last moment,” Pochettino told The Telegraph.
“The most important is that we are there. We are living the dream.”
“The most important is to try and enjoy, to try and bring to the players that belief, as we have done to get here but we must also dream,” Pochettino said.
Spurs is not only playing in the Champions League. The team is also in the fourth position of the English Premier League table with 70 points, one behind third-place Chelsea and three ahead of fifth-place Arsenal.
Tottenham will play against Ajax tomorrow night and then will finish their 2018-2019 season while hosting Everton.
