Francisco Trincao says he was lost for words upon signing for Barcelona as he goes on to outline what the fans can expect from him.
FC Barcelona secured the services of SC Braga‘s Franciso Trincao in January in a transfer worth around €31 million.
Trincao committed to a five-year contract, which set his buyout clause at a staggering €500 million, and will arrive at Camp Nou at the end of the 2019/20 season.
Uncertainty still surrounds regarding the Catalans’ plans for the 20-year old, as in whether they would loan him straightaway or give him a chance to impress.
Speaking to Barca TV+, the talented forward insists he wants to be a part of the senior squad as he expresses his sincere desire to help his new team.
“When I signed for Barça, I was speechless. It’s a proud moment and an important step for me to reach FC Barcelona,” he said
“I am my own reference point. From my game, I would highlight my dribbling, goalscoring, creating goals, and hard work. Despite preferring to play on the right, I am going to try to help the team from wherever upfront.
“I want to help. I want to play as much as I can to help the team and win as much as possible.”
