Bruno Fernandes has given his assurance he will help Cristiano Ronaldo on his quest to break Ali Daei’s international record.

Bruno Fernandes has said he will go all out of his way to help Ronaldo hit yet another amazing record.

The Manchester United ace has grown to be good friends with CR7.

On and off the pitch, the pair continue to strike a partnership that can only grow for the better.

Cristiano Ronaldo even gave his blessing ahead of Bruno Fernandes making his switch to Manchester United. In a similar fashion, they both played for Sporting Lisbon as well.

On to national duty, CR7 recently made the headlines with his strikes against Sweden.

Ronaldo scored twice and took his international tally to 101 goals. He is just the second man in the history of the game to hit more than 100 career international goals. Iran’s Ali Daei holds the record for the most with 109 goals.

It means CR7 needs only nine more goals to make that record his own and there’s no doubt he can achieve that easily.

Bruno Fernandes spoke on Ronaldo surpassing the 100-goal mark and says he will play his part on the road to another milestone.

When asked about the century landmark, Fernandes laughed in an interview with Manchester United, saying:

“101!  For me, and I think for most of the people now, it’s normal.”You see when someone watches the games, if he doesn’t score, for everyone, it is a bad game because, normally, he always scores.”

“You wait for a goal from him or for him to do something different. Of course, I’m really happy to have a chance to play alongside him and I hope he can achieve the record he wants, for sure.”

“Maybe I can help him achieve that record with the national team”

Ronaldo will get another crack at more international goals when Portugal play three games in the space of a week next month.

As it stands, it’s only a matter of time before he makes that record his own.
