Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s former PSG teammate Jeremy Menez insists you can’t fault him and all his hype because he backs it all up on the pitch.
Much of the bravado that surrounds Zlatan Ibrahimovic is created by the man himself.
From his “lion” comments to “god” comparisons, he is often condemned as an egotistical maniac.
According to his former teammate Jeremy Menez the opportunity to work with a player like the Swedish international is a privilege.
In his opinion, the AC Milan striker has every right to say what he wants because whether it’s on the practice field or the in the match he backs it all up with the ball.
Speaking to Stats Perform News Menez said:
“I always got along well with him and his words motivate you to give your all, train at your best, I never had any problem with him.”
“Such a player pushes you to improve all the time. He always wants to win. He goes out every day to train well and win it all.”
“I thank him because playing with players like him makes you grow as a professional and as a man.”
“Despite all the words he can say, he then proves it on the pitch. What can you say against him?”
“He always made his clubs win, wherever he went. What can you say against him? I leave him be and say all he wants.”
“It is a joke because he is like that. I smile at that because this is Ibra. It represents his career.”
The question now, is where will Zlatan Ibrahimovic be sharing his divine talent next season, if not AC Milan then Where?
