The LA Galaxy striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, doesn’t care if the players from LAFC talk trash him, he only cares about playing well tomorrow.
The Major League Soccer (MLS) Los Angeles derby known as El Trafico will be played tomorrow.
LAFC is set to play against the LA Galaxy to show who owns the Californian city.
And for LA Galaxy forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic, all the trash talk in the world won’t take his focus out of the match.
“You concentrate on the game, do your best and the rest is: weak people fail, strong people, win,” Ibrahimovic told the media according to ESPN.
“I play my game. I play with my feet. I don’t try to get inside someone’s head or [get them] out of balance by speaking. I play my game. I try to do what I’m best at and I succeed.”
“No, [I don’t keep track], I try to help my team as much as possible, he does the same thing and that’s our job, to score goals, create chances,” he added.
“One week one scores more, the other week the other scores more, so it’s all about the continuity, doing it the whole season.”
Galaxy coach Guillermo Barros Schelotto also commented: “LAFC’s numbers are very good, yes, but the Supporters’ Shield winner doesn’t always win the MLS Cup.”
“We need to recognize they are a very good team, [at a] high level, but we are a good team.”
