Kylian Mbappe insists he wants to stay at Paris Saint-Germain and help the club win titles.
Paris Saint Germain forward Kylian Mbappe has refrained from commenting on rumors speculating his move to Real Madrid saying that it will harmful for his relationship with the club.
Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is understood to be a great admirer of the 21-year old striker and fellow countrymen Kylian Mbappe.
He has been linked with a move to the Spanish capital ever since his rise to stardom at Monaco. However, Mbappe decided to make a switch to PSG for a whopping €180 million. With 81 goals in 109 games so far, he seems to be justifying his price tag.
Speaking at the launch of his charity, Inspired by Kylian Mbappe, he was hesitant to discuss his move to Real Madrid despite previously acclaiming his admiration for them.
“Everyone talks about it – when I was young I talked about it too. But now I’m a player and I know it’s not the moment,” Mbappe told BBC Sport.
“We are in January – it’s the money time of the season. Imagine I answer your question and say something. Everybody will talk about it and it’s not good for PSG.
“Now I’m with PSG and I’m 100 percent with the club. I want to help the club grow this season, to win a lot of titles. So, for me, it’s not good to talk about [my future].”
