Zinedine Zidane has insisted that he has learned a lot in the last few years.

Real Madrid, in a rather surprising turn of events, reappointed Zinedine Zidane at the start of this year after he stepped down as the head coach short after Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure.

During his initial stint with Los Blancos, starting from 2016, Zidane led them three consecutive Champions League victories. He also won La Liga in his first year.

But Zinedine Zidane feels he has returned to the Santiago Bernabeu stronger than before. Ahead of the Supercup final, the Frenchman stated that he has learned a lot during his time in Spain and still tries to learn from wherever he can.

“For me, it is a joy to be in Spain,” Zidane remarked as per Marca.

“To live in a country where people enjoy life and football. I feel like a better coach, I see myself doing well, progressing.

“That’s life, we learn from situations. From people, from everything around you,” the former World Cup winner added.

“I listen to everyone and that makes me a better coach and a better person. I accept that everyone thinks what they want [but] I’m happy with what I do.”
