Lautaro Martinez says he is focused on working towards improving himself and the common goal of the team.
Lautaro Martinez has been in the form of his life for Inter this season. The forward has already scored 14 goals in just 23 games in all competitions.
Considering his form and understanding with his striker partner Romelu Lukaku, Martinez has long been touted to replace Luis Suarez at Barcelona as the Uruguayan appears to enter his twilight year.
But Martinez feels he is no hurry to change camps despite what the rumors suggest. After Inter’s 3-1 win against Napoli, the striker said that he looks forward to keep improving himself at the club.
“I am doing my best at Inter, I only focus on giving my all on the pitch,” Martinez told as per Football Italia.
“I am happy at Inter, I try to work hard and stay focused. That’s my goal with this club.
“We are working on and off the pitch to get the most out of this moment. We are happy because we are doing well. In training, we do everything the coach asks from us.
“We think about our job, to train and improve by doing what the coach tells us to do. We’re trying to win all the matches, to stay up there.”
