Arturo Vidal says he has formed great bonding with his Barcelona teammates and has no plans to quit the club anytime soon.

FC Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal has been actively linked with a switch to Inter Milan at the end of this season.

Recent reports indicate that Barcelona are looking to use Vidal as a makeweight to snap up long-term transfer target Lautaro Martinez from Inter.

The Chilean settled well in the team after arriving at Camp Nou at the start of the 2018-19 season. But his role has mainly been limited to being a substitute this season. And hence, talks have emerged that he will be off in search of greener pastures come summer.

Speaking in an Instagram Live chat, however, he suggests he is happy with reduced playing time. The 32-year old insisted that he is happy at Barca and wishes to continue playing at the club.

“I’m very happy and comfortable in Barcelona. I obviously want to continue here,” Vidal said, as Goal reports.

“Now, I’m more prepared than ever before. I’m happy, there’s a great group and I have many friends in the dressing room. I feel very well physically, better than ever. I feel prepared for what is coming, both the Champions League and La Liga.”
