The former Milan, England and Real Madrid manager has spoken about what he thinks is the hardest group in the UEFA Champions League.
Inter Milan landed in Group B of the 2018-2019 UEFA Europa League along with Spain’s Barcelona, England’s Tottenham Hotspur, and Netherland’s PSV Eindhoven.
And to many people, this is the most difficult group in the competition.
“Inter really got the worst of it,” Capello told Sky Sports Italia as quoted by Football Italia.
“Napoli had a very bad draw too and I think in both those groups it’ll be a three-way battle for the two qualifying spots.”
“It’ll need a great Napoli and Inter from the very start to put themselves in a good position to go forward,” he added.
“Roma and Real Madrid are favorites to go through from their group, while Juve needs to be wary of Valencia in Spain, as they are strong on their own turf.”
“Having said that, Juve seems superior to all their opponents in that group,” he commented.
“Liverpool and Napoli are two sides who both play very attacking football.”
