Inter Milan have announced today they’ve suspended Radja Nainggolan for disciplinary reasons
The former Belgium international has failed to live up to expectations at the San Siro following his €38m summer arrival from AS Roma, which also saw teenager Nicolo Zaniolo go the opposite direction.
In fact, Nainggolan has only started nine times in Inter’s 17 Serie A matches this season with two goals to his name.
The 30-year-old started in Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Chievo Verona before being replaced by Matías Vecino in the 67th-minute of the game.
And it appears Nainggolan won’t be seen in an Inter jersey for quite some time now as he’s barred from all “football activity”.
“FC Internazionale Milano can confirm that Radja Nainggolan has been temporarily suspended from football activity for disciplinary reasons,” read a statement on the club website.
Luciano Spalletti’s side will next take on second-place Napoli on Boxing Day in the Serie A.
