Inter Milan are set to host Lazio at the San Siro on Thursday and the game is definitely going to be an exciting affair between two attacking sides.

As Inter Milan get ready to square off against Lazio in their fifth Serie A game of the season, we take a look at a few players who are likely to make the difference for their respective sides.

Diego Godin

The Uruguayan international joined Inter Milan this summer. While his move hasn’t made the sort of headlines that you’d come to expect from a player of his standing, Godin has quickly established himself as a defensive stalwart for his new team.

In the Derby della Madonnina, the former Atletico Madrid man was a calming presence and ensured that Milan striker Krysztof Piatek was kept at bay. Indeed it was Godin’s displays that resulted in the backline keeping a clean sheet and while also nullifying Milan’s attacking prowess.

Against Lazio, Godin would be looking to repeat the same display by keeping Ciro Immobile quiet.
