Bologna coach Filippo Inzaghi feels that they can take inspiration from their win over AS Roma last weekend heading into their clash with Serie A leaders Juventus
The Rossoblu ended a four-game winless start to the new campaign by beating Roma 2-0 at home on Sunday.
Now Inzaghi, who replaced the sacked Roberto Donadoni as the new manager in June, is hopeful that the squad can repeat the feat against Europe’s strongest team.
âWe will start 11 against 11, with a clear mind,â Inzaghi told a press conference. âThe team will have to play a great match.
âIt seemed impossible even against Roma and (on Wednesday) we will face probably the strongest team in Europe.
âIt will be a good opportunity for the younger players to play in such an important stadium.â
Before Sunday’s win, Inzaghi had lost three of his first four matches in charge at Bologna.
âI was confident before and Iâm confident now,â he said.
âFor me nothing changes.
âWe have to continue on this path, a positive performance is not enough, we have to give continuity to our work.â
Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri has confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo will start, despite planning to make several changes to the line-up.
