His team will play the Derby della Capitale against AS Roma and hopes Lazio can get an important win that would boost their mood.

Lazio is currently in the third position of the Italian Lega Serie A with 45 points.

The team is just two points behind Internazionale Milano and six points behind leaders Juventus.

And they are ready to play against AS Roma in a new edition of the Derby della Capitale.

This is why Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi has asked his team to “keep a clear head.”

“We know what the derby represents for us and the fans,” said Inzaghi in his press conference according to Football Italia.

“I experienced this fixture as a player and a coach. We’ve got to be on our toes and realize the game can change at any moment. It’s a match separate from the rest of the season and there are no favorites.”

He added: “We’ve won 11 Serie A games in a row, but are still disappointed and angry going in because of what happened in the Coppa Italia on Tuesday.”

“We went out by losing a game to Napoli that we did not deserve to lose.”

“We talked it over and will learn lessons from that, but are angry to have left a competition we really cared about,” he commented.

“We have no fear of anyone, but only respect for Roma. Lazio is a more confident team than we were back on August 30, too.”
