According to Igli Tare, the Lazio coach still has another year on his contract and will remain at the Italian Lega Serie A club.
Lazio is currently in the 8th position of the Italian Lega Serie A with 59 points.
They are playing today against Torino, in order to climb up to the 7th position on the standing.
And the good season the team has had, after winning the Coppa Italia, has manager Simone Inzaghi in the radar of many clubs.
But today, Lazio director Igli Tare has said Inzaghi has another year on his contract and it’s not going anywhere this summer.
“We had meetings to figure out many things, but Inzaghi still has another year on his contract with us,” Tared said according to Football Italia.
“All this attention around him seems exaggerated.”
“The president said it, I said it and I think the Coach believes he will stay too, so I don’t see many doubts,” he added.
“The summer transfer market is made up of fairy-tales.”
He concluded: “The most important thing is that Lazio will have a competitive team to challenge for the top targets next season.”
