Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal has revealed that teammate Isco is the most loved player in the dressing room amidst rumours of a rift between him, the players and the manager.

The Spain international midfielder is yet to start a game for Madrid since Santiago Solari replaced Julen Lopetegui as manager of Spanish giants.

Isco was dropped from the club’s matchday squad for Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League win at Roma but was a used substitute for the visit of Valencia in Saturday.

Solari preferred to start the duo of Dani Ceballos and Marcos Llorente with young Federico Valverde entering the game before Isco came on for the final 10 minutes.

Solari describes Ramos’ latest red card as an ‘occupational hazard’

Real Madrid manager Santiago Solari labelled Sergio Ramos' red card as an "occupational hazard" in their 2-1 defeat to Girona.

However, Carvajal insists there’s no issue between Isco and the manager or the rest of the players.

“He is the most loved in the dressing room,” he said, according to Goal.

“Like Marcos Llorente.

“[Llorente] has had two great games after a long time without playing.”
