Juventus director Fabio Paratici has given a stern response to claims that Ronaldo is considering an exit from Juventus.
Fabio Paratici insists Cristiano Ronaldo represents the future of Juventus and claims criticism toward the Portuguese striker makes him laugh.
The Juventus forward has suffered recent criticism, coming in the aftermath of the Bianconeri’s Champions League exit.
Multiple reports have claimed Ronaldo is genuinely considering an exit from the club. The likes of PSG and Inter Miami have been named as his potential next destinations.
Juve boss Andrea Pirlo dismissed those reports yesterday, hinting that CR7 has more than proved his worth for Juventus.
In similar fashion, Paratici has sternly shrugged off all exit rumors.
“We focus on one game at a time, we must do the best for ourselves, not for the others. Inter’s win changes nothing for us,” Paratici told Sky Sport Italia ahead of the Old Lady’s away clash at Cagliari.
Speaking on Ronaldo’s ‘potential’ exit, he added: “It makes me laugh. I never imagined Ronaldo could be put into question. I grew up in a small town and I heard people discussing Platini, Rivera, Baggio, top players inside bars.
“Ronaldo won five Ballon d’Ors, I don’t know how many Champions League. He won so many trophies and scored so many goals at Juventus. It’s a privilege to have him here, we are happy to have him here.
“He surely represents the future of Juventus”.
