Italian pundit makes bizarre idiotic racist Lukaku comment

Luciano Passirani, a guest on an Italian football show, made the idiotic racist comments as part of bizarre praise of Lukaku’s strength.

The former Manchester United striker has been on the receiving and of racial abuse, including monkey chants from opposition fans since his arrival in Serie A.

Passirani started with some complimentary remarks in regard to the Belgian internationals immense strength.

He said:

“I don’t see in the Italian league a player like Lukaku in any team, not in AC Milan, Inter, Rome, Lazio.”

‘He’s one of the strongest and I like him a lot because he’s one of the strongest, he’s at least twice as strong as (Duvan) Zapata from Atalanta.”

“If they go one-on-one with you you’re dead, you fall to the ground.”

Then added the bizzare comments that can only be classed as idiotic and have sparked outrage.

He added:

“You’re alright if you have ten bananas to give him to eat, otherwise…”

Passirani has been condemned and banned from channel TopCalcio24 immediately.

We deserved the three points: Marcus Rashford

According to the Manchester United forward, his team shouldn't have drawn against Liverpool after he scored the first goal of the match.

TV station director Fabio Ravezzani came on air to apologise and confirm that Passirani’s career as far as his network was concerned was over.

Racism has been at the forefront of football recently following an upsurge in abuse through social media and in the stands.

Lukaku has become a strong advocate for change in how football handles such a problem.

Lukaku said:

“Yes, I think you have to leave a statement, of course, because it’s something we need to address.”

“Football is international, football is multicultural, so if you really want to field the best players in the world.”

“You have to make sure you receive them with open arms because they’e also willing to adapt to the culture.”

“I think it’s really important not to discriminate and just appreciate the presence they bring into the country.”
