Serie A clubs have started the summer transfer window on a very strong foot and the likes of Juventus, Inter and Milan are already moving ahead.

A case of making one of the top earners in Serie A

According to Tutto Sport, Juventus are hell-bent on agreeing terms with Matthijs de Ligt. The reigning Serie A champions are desperate to end rumors surrounding the young defender. So much so that they are willing to make him the second highest paid player in the league.

Figures are mind boggling for sure. Apart from paying €70 million, the Old Lady is willing to give the youngster a package. It will put him ahead of the likes of Paulo Dybala, Miralem Pjanic and Mauro Icardi. Only Cristiano Ronaldo would be ahead of him if that happens.

De Rossi to stay in Serie A

After being constantly linked with a move to Argentine giants Boca Juniors, Italy legend, Daniele de Rossi has decided to stay in Italy. MLS outfit Los Angeles FC were also keen on signing the former Roma man. But it appears that the World Cup winner is going to stay in the Serie A. The likes of Fiorentina and AC Milan have been linked with the midfielder.

Sarri looking to land Turkish starlet

Maurizio Sarri is keen to leave a lasting impression on Juventus. The tactician is keen to replenish an ageing defense. While acquiring de Ligt remains a possibility, the former Napoli coach is also targeting a move for Turkey international, Merih Demiral. Currently at Sassuolo, the defender apparently has already had a medical and could be announced soon.

AC Milan looking to steal Torreira from Arsenal

According to Sport Mediaset, Milan are desperate to sign Lucas Torreira from Arsenal. The combative midfielder only signed last summer. But it appears that he misses Italy quite a lot. And the San Siro giants are keen on signing the Uruguayan and are willing to bring him on loan with an option for a permanent deal.
