There are indications that Juventus youngster Moise Kean will start the Azzurri’s Euro 2020 qualifying match against Finland Saturday evening.
Italy manager Roberto Mancini believes in Kean and shows his admiration for the player saying that he is one of the most fascinating youngsters of Serie A and Italy.
“I think that Kean is a star in the making. He’s a player with great qualities, is always improving and I think that he can become an important player.
“He’s a player that has always done well and has great possibilities, we always need to remember that he’s 19 years old, therefore we can expect great things. There will be mistakes but I believe this is the right path” he said via Gianlucadimarzio.
Mancini adds that Chiellini, Bonucci, Jorginho and Verratti are players that can mentor young players to be in their best.
“I’ve targeted more younger players that are playing to have a future with the Nazionale. Obviously it helps to have expert players who know how to lead the youngsters, because the young players have enthusiasm and desire to do well, but in these situations experience is important. Chiellini, Bonucci, Jorginho and Verratti are players that can really help these guys.”
Italy will kick off their Euro 2020 qualification outing this evening with their first opponents in Group J – Finland.
