Italy’s Euro 2020 qualification: five players who shined

Italy secured their place in Serbia as they comfortably won their European Championship qualifier against Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Bilino Polje Stadium.

Italy have not looked back after failing to qualify for the 2018 World Cup. In the year-and-a-half since, Roberto Mancini has led the transformation of Gli Azzurri.

The Italians have registered 9 victories on the trot and ensured participation in Euro 2020 with two matches to spare. The Blues have scored an impressive 28 goals in their qualification outings, with an impregnable defense.

We look at the five players shining for the Italians in their bid for European glory.

Andrea Belotti

The Torino forward has found his goal scoring touch. In the tough fixture against Bosnia, the Turin native scored one and laid down the ball for Insigne’s goal. Belotti has been impressive for the Italians, scoring five goals in his seven outings.
