The Argentine, with a tally of 177 goals, became the highest-scoring foreign player in England. Moreover, he also broke Alan Shearer’s long-standing record of 11 hat-tricks in the Premier League.

After the match, Sergio Aguero was humble as ever claiming that the most important thing was Manchester City’s win. He said that he was enjoying every moment after breaking multiple records while looking to continue his goalscoring exploits.

“After this, I want to keep going and keep scoring more goals, but the most important for me is that the team keeps winning and winning,” Aguero said as per the Guardian.

“I don’t know what will happen from now until the end of the season, but it’s a moment to enjoy.”

The striker also went on to thank his teammates saying that he couldn’t have got his record without their support.

“I’m very happy to be breaking records. It’s always nice to receive awards,” Aguero continued.

“I want to thank my teammates for helping me to score them in all these years. I’m very proud and very happy for it.”
