Despite the latest stance from Borussia Dortmund, Owen Hargreaves believes United will still get their main transfer target, Jadon Sancho.
Earlier today, Manchester United were handed a blow in their pursuit of Jadon Sancho.
United were locked in talks with the German side over a Sancho deal for the past few months. However, they failed to meet up to the club’s €120m valuation and August 10 deadline to sanction a deal.
Regardless of how it may look, ex-Red Devils midfielder Owen Hargreaves is certain the English forward will still join United in the current transfer window.
“Bluff! Calling the bluff, yeah,” Hargreaves said as quoted by Express.
“I think he will be a Man United player in a pretty short time.
[Dortmund are] trying to get a bit more money out of it, that’s just the nature of the beast.
“Obviously they know United are really interested, they’re pretty heavy into negotiations.”
“But I think they’re bluffing, they know he’s going to leave at that price.”
United might still be making a move for Sancho in the background but rumors already claim they have set their sights somewhere else.
