Just hours before England’s first competitive match of 2019, Sky Sports reports that youngster Jadon Sancho is set to get his first start vs the Czech Republic.
It has taken youngster Jadon Sancho only a few days of training and a couple of matches to completely win over manager Gareth Southgate, the England boss has constantly been impressed with the teenager’s impressive skills and it appears that the key moment for the Borussia Dortmund player arrives in just a few hours at Wembley Stadium.
The Three Lions are set to start their road to the European Championship against the Czech Republic, we have pretty much all the World Cup players who reached the semifinals last summer and we also have the addition of youngster Jadon Sancho to the mix.
This squad is so fresh right now, that there are even some similar aspects to the process that France underwent between 2016 and 2018 when they suddenly became more competitive due to Kylian Mbappe’s arrival.
Sancho gives the England squad a whole new dimension on the attack, he compliments perfectly with other key players such as Raheem Sterling or Marcus Rashford but he adds an extra special condiment that the others don’t really have.

Just a few hours ago, Sky Sports reported that Gareth Southgate has completely decided to give Jadon Sancho his first-ever start as an England player when the Three Lions face the Czech Republic at Wembley later today.
Marcus Rashford’s unfortunate ankle problem on Thursday is the reason that the gaffer made this decision, the Manchester United player withdrew from the squad and returned to his club in order to recover and Sancho is set to take his place as a winger for this very important first match.
This is the opportunity that the youngster had been waiting for, he needs to prove that he really is up to the challenge and the hype that everybody keeps building around him.
Jadon hasn’t even completed thirty minutes of competitive football for England, but this doesn’t matter for the manager because he knows that the experience this young player has gathered in the Bundesliga is more than enough proof of how capable he is to represent his country in a serious match.
Sancho’s road to this specific moment hasn’t been easy, it has taken a lot of sweat and effort to convince the manager that he deserves this chance and he is not about to waste it.
Southgate says he currently doesn't intend to call anyone else into his squad, but will reassess his options after tomorrow's game.https://t.co/LJpyxMgpT8

The young English winger has already established himself as the Bundesliga’s revelation for the current campaign, he became the first player from his country to reach more than 10 assists in a single season and he is widely respected in German football right now.
Regardless of how poorly Borussia Dortmund performed against Tottenham Hotspur, Jadon Sancho’s street cred didn’t drop one bit in the eyes of the England manager.
After playing this inauguration match for the Euro 2020 against the Czech Republic, the Three Lions are set to make a trip to Montenegro to play again on Monday.
These two matches will be perfect for Jadon Sancho to convince the manager that he deserves a spot for June’s crucial UEFA Nations League final four against the Netherlands, what he does during today’s match specifically will determine if he actually has a chance to continue featuring for England in the upcoming matches.
Knowing how well Sancho plays under pressure, this should be a walk in the park for him and he could even drop an assist or a goal against the Czech squad.
