James Maddison is open to a move to United in the summer as the Red Devils have made the midfielder their priority.
James Maddison has been a life-long fan of United and would welcome the idea of a potential move in the summer.
Despite recent reports of the 23-year-old close to a new contract at Leicester, it might appear a move is still very much on the cards.
Manchester Evening News are reporting that Maddison would have been at United years ago if it was his choice.
The same report goes on to say that the Leicester man is the priority target as United have pulled up a three man shortlist.
Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish and Ajax’s Donny van de Beek are the two other central playmakers linked to United.
The England international has remained an influential figure in the Leicester camp and it’s expected the Foxes would demand a hefty fee from United.
Maddison still has a contract that runs until 2023 and Leicester could even demand more than the £80m fee United paid them for Harry Maguire.
