Jamie Vardy to return for Leicester against Southampton

Leicester city forward Jamie Vardy will return to his team’s lineup when they host Southampton in a Premier league encounter but Jonny Evans is ruled out.

Vardy did not play a part in Leicester City FA cup defeat by League Two side Newport as he was rested by Coach Claude Puel.

Defender Evans is ruled out for six weeks after suffering a broken toe according to Daily Echo.

Also, Academy player Harvey Barnes has been recalled from his loan spell at West Brom and he could play a part in Saturday’s encounter.

The Southampton striker player non-league football before becoming a professional and now he has signed for Southampton.

Leicester city were at the receiving end of criticisms following their FA Cup elimination by Newport. While manager Claude Puel hopes to make a statement with the match against Southampton on Saturday, it is yet unclear how he hopes to manage his squad with speculations over injury concerns in the squad.
