Jean Michael Seri has decided to momentarily end his stay at Fulham and has arrived in Turkey to formally sign for the Super Lig giants.
After just one year at Fulham, Jean Michael Seri has decided to move on. The Frenchman signed from OGC Nice last summer and was expected to be the driving force for Fulham during Cottager’s return to the Premier League.
And while he did establish himself at the club, his performances were not enough to help his team avoid a swift return to the Championship. And in a bid to ensure that he isn’t stuck in lower division football, the Ivorian has decided to sign for Galatasaray on a year-long deal.
According to Standard Sport, negotiations between the two teams have progressed and a deal is set to be finalized soon.
Jean Michael Seri has already arrived in Istanbul and was greeted by the club’s fans. The club also shared the moment on its official Twitter account.

Seri is set to undergo a medical examination before he officially signs for the reigning Turkish champions.
And keeping in view Turkish laws which require clubs listed on the stock exchange to announce a transfer before it goes through, Galatasaray made a formal announcement.

The arrival has also coincided with the departure of Badou N’Diaye who has returned to parent club Stoke following the end of his loan spell.
The arrival of Jean Michael Seri is the second time in the summer a former Fulham player has signed for the Lions. In June, Ryan Babel signed a three-year deal with them. The former Liverpool striker signed for the Cottagers on a short term deal and became a free agent when that deal expired.
And with the likes of the combative midfielder and Babel at the club, one can expect Gala to be stronger than ever.
