Gabriel Jesus faced questions about his future at Manchester City and a possible move to Real Madrid, his response was rather non-committal.

Manchester City and Gabriel Jesus just got through with beating Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Jesus himself got on the score sheet with the crucial equalizer.

The Brazilian forward is having somewhat of a breakthrough season this year. He has started to come out of the shadows of the aging Sergio Aguero.

However, until Aguero moves on or retires, he will almost certainly play second fiddle to the club’s all time leading scorer.

This along with the possibility of City being banned from the Champions League for two years has seen heightened speculation about the player’s future at the club.

Real Madrid who is in desperate need of some quality firepower are rumored to be interested,

After the game Spanish outlet AS posed the question of his future. While he admits he is happy, he was still rather non-committal in his response.

He said:

“I have a contract with City and I am very happy with the season I am having.”

“Playing, scoring goals and helping the team.”

“I am very happy with the year I am having and I don’t think about these things.”

However, he confirmed he still has other ambitions too.

He added:

“I am still the dreamer I was when I wore the Palmeiras jersey, I want to achieve great things and conquer my objectives.”

“I am still young despite having won important things in my career and always want more and to fly higher.”

His statistics from the game against his possible new team will have done nothing but enhance his reputation.
