Wolves forward Raul Jimenez is relishing facing Liverpool in the Premier League as Jurgen Klopp’s side prepares to travel to the Molineux Stadium on Friday.
Jimenez opened the scoring in Wolves’ 2-0 home win against Bournemouth on Saturday. The victory took Nuno’s team to 7th place and just one point behind Manchester United in the league table.
Now the 27-year-old has set his focus on Friday’s Premier League game with Liverpool who top the table and are still unbeaten so far this season.
“That’s going to be a great game,” Jimenez told the club’s website.
“We know that it’s going to be a very difficult game because they are one of the best teams in the league, but we can compete with them and we have good players to go to that match.”
A positive result for Wolves could put them above Manchester United who will travel to Wales to play Cardiff City on Saturday.
