Raul Jimenez has made his intentions loud and clear to Manchester United and any other suitor for that matter, Wolverhampton Wanderers’ fans should be happy.
Raul Jimenez has been in sensational form at Wolves working alongside Nuno Espirito Santo.
He has been a key factor in the West Midlands club’s rise up the Premier League to seventh only four points out of the Champions League spots.
Mexican international’s performances have brought about the attention of some of the league’s bigger clubs. The like of Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham have all been linked with the forward.
But in an interview reported by The Express, he has moved to appease any fears Wolves fans have of his departure.
“I have a contract until 2023, it’s not that we have to qualify for the Champions League in order to stay.”
“I’m good here, happy with Wolves, doing important things – me as well as the whole team.”
“We’ve been trying our best since the start of last season.”
“We’ve qualified for the Europa League, now we’re fighting for a Champions League spot.”
“It’s the big motivation to keep growing as a player.”
“Getting into the Champions League is always a plus that satisfies you and keeps you thinking about big things.”
It appears that the Wolves fans will be singing his “Siiiii Senoooor” song a little while longer.
