Raul Jimenez suggests he is happy at Wolves but wouldn’t turn down the opportunity of moving away if high profile clubs come calling.
Raul Jimenez is said to be on the radar of several European big names as he continues to lead the charge at Wolves during his second season at the club after arriving from Benfica back in 2018.
Scoring 22 goals across all competitions, Jimenez was enjoying his career-best season before football activities in England came to a halt. He was also a key figure in helping Wolves reach their first European competition in 38 years.
The striker has previously had a spell in Spain with Atletico Madrid. And regarding his transfer rumors, he says he is open to returning to Spain to join Real Madrid or Barcelona.
“I find out [about transfer links] through social media. I have to be calm. If they are talking about me, it is because I am doing things well. I would like to continue in England,” Jimenez told ESPN.
“If you tell me that tomorrow an offer from Real Madrid or Barcelona comes, it is obvious that you do not let such an opportunity go.
“But if I stay here, I am fighting to qualify for the Champions League, for important things.”
